Chantix is an oral medication prescribed to individuals who are trying to quit smoking and is non-addictive. It also diminishes the taste of cigarette and kills the craving for smoke.  It is an alternative to other smoking cessation drugs and nicotine replacement therapy. Chantix is approved for use in adults and is taken for 12 weeks; patients who successfully quit may take an additional 12 weeks of the medication to increase their likelihood of long-term cessation.

Chantix is a cutting-edge treatment specifically developed to block nicotine's effect in the brain. The dosage, 1 mg twice daily after lunch and dinner, nearly doubles the likelihood of quitting versus Zyban and nearly quadruples the likelihood over placebo.

The data that led to the approval of this drug came from 6 clinical trials including more than 3,600 patients; 5 of the 6 studies were randomized controlled clinical trials in which it was shown to be superior to placebo. Chantix is a pill and is taken twice a day. Talk to your doctor about proper use, dosage, and side effects. It's easy to use, and is usually well tolerated. Some people taking Chantix experience nausea, which can usually be avoided by taking it with food.

If the clinically proven effectiveness of Chantix is making you think again about your stance on quit smoking pills, you are not alone. It's the only quit smoking pill right now which makes quitting smoking easier than imagined. Smokers who get the drug are also able to enroll in a free quitting support program.

Your doctor will determine if Chantix is right for you based on your medical history and the prescription drugs you are already taking. Physicians and patients have to make an informed decision about whether this drug is suitable, but in order to do that, it's important that they exchange some important information. For example, physicians should inquire about past psychiatric illnesses before they prescribe and patients should be educated to volunteer this information.

Chantix is available in all leading medical stores. It is also available online. It has so many benefits that people who quit smoking with it don't face any problems and easily get over with the habit. Unlike the other anti-smoking tools, Chantix is not a nicotine replacement. It works like nicotine but is not addictive and is proven to produce results in the fight against tobacco addiction. Keep that in mind as you consider whether it is something you want to try. What is promising about Chantix is that it works by dealing with both the psychological as well as the physical addiction to smoking, unlike many other products available.

On May 11, 2006, the FDA cave its approval to the drug Pfizer's new stop smoking drug, varenicline tartrate, or Chantix. Chantix offers an alternative to those who have depended on nicotine-base patches and gums to wean them from their nicotine cravings so that they can give up cigarettes.

The flaw in using nicotine products to stop smoking has always been that the former smoker never had any way to be certain that he or she had actually broken the addiction to nicotine. If the addiction remains, the nicotine cravings will eventually resurface, as they do in the majority of people who have tired to permanently stop smoking.

How Chantix Works
The new stop smoking drug Chantix, however, takes a different approach to the problem of nicotine addiction. It does what the nicotine gum and patches do, without their nicotine. The new stop smoking drug stimulates the brain to release small doses of dopamine, which lessen the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal; and it blocks the nicotine receptors in your brain, so that if you do succumb to temptation and light up, the warm fuzzies you feel won't be nearly as warm or fuzzy as you are used to them being.

The theory behind the new stop smoking drug is that if the fun of cigarette smoking is gone, your desire to go out and drop your dollars on the weekly supply will go as well.

Chantix may be the new stop smoking drug, but it's not the only one. The anti-depressant Wellbutrin was found to help smokers kick their habits, and reincarnated as the anti-smoking drug Zyban. But Chantix, as a new stop smoking drug, offers an alternative for those smokers who do not like the idea of taking an anti-depressant. With smoking having become the enormous public health problem that it is, anything which can help people give up tobacco is welcome.

Chantix, in addition, has been shown to limit the weight gain which so often accompanies smokers' efforts to quit. The new stop smoking drug hasn't been available to the public long enough to judge its success as a long-term answer for smokers, but trials have shown that over 40% of those who used it for the initial twelve-week course of treatment succeeded in quitting, and between 14 and 24 percent remained smoke-free after a year.

How To Take Chantix
The new stop smoking drug [http://www.stopsmokingaidsguide.com/Stop_Smoking_Patch/] is taken once a day in pill form for the first part of the twelve week treatment, and then increased to twice daily. Gradually increasing the dosage is designed to reduce the risk of side effects, which have included nausea and vomiting, sleeplessness and strange dreams, and a change in the taste of certain foods.

Because the new stop smoking drug has FDA-approval, you may find its cost covered by your health insurance.

You've decided to lose your cigarette habit, and know that the prospect of nicotine withdrawal is not a pleasant one. The good news is that stop smoking medication is available to ease your transition back to the world on non-smokers. If, however, you think you'd like to incorporate a stop smoking medication into your plan to quit, there are a few things you should consider.

There are two varieties of stop smoking medication; those which contain small amounts of nicotine and those which simply fool the brain into thinking it is getting nicotine by blocking its nicotine receptors.

Nicotine-Based Stop Smoking Medication

A stop smoking medication with nicotine, likes nicotine gum, lozenge, spray, or
patch, offer nicotine, but with a lower concentration and a rate of absorption than the nicotine in cigarettes. And nicotine-based stops smoking medication is, of course from a much safer source than toxin-loaded cigarettes. A nicotine-based medication contains nicotine in a variety of strengths, so that you can move to a lower dosage as you gradually wean yourself away from smoking.

The point of using a nicotine-based stop smoking medication is to quit cigarettes one and for all. So if you intend to use a nicotine-based stop smoking medication, start it on the day you stop smoking; if the nicotine you are getting from the stop smoking medication is insufficient to get you through your cravings, consult your doctor to see if an alternative stop smoking medication would be more appropriate for you.

Chantix And Zyban

There are only two FDA-approved prescription stop smoking medications; Chantix and Zyban. Chantix was FDA-approved in May of 2006 after being fast-tracked by the FDA, meaning that the period of FDA testing done on it was significantly shortened. Chantix works by attaching to the nicotine receptors in the brain and stimulating them to tell the brain to release dopamine, the "pleasure" neurotransmitter.

By blocking those receptors, Chantix reduces your nicotine cravings at the same time it is giving you the dopamine release which smoking provides. Chantix, unlike a nicotine-based stop smoking medication, should be started a week before you stop smoking.

The second FDA-approves stop smoking medication, Zyban, was originally marketed as the anti-depressant buproprion, or Wellbutrin. Some smokers being treated for depression with Wellbutrin reported that they lost their desire for cigarettes, so Wellbutrin's maker Glaxo Kline tested it as a stop smoking medication, found that it did have some effectiveness, and had it FDA-approved for that purpose.

Most experts on addiction agree that using a stop smoking medication [http://www.stopsmokingaidsguide.com/Acupuncture_Stop_Smoking/], while it may get you through the withdrawal period and remove your physical addiction to nicotine, will do nothing to eliminate the emotional attachment you had to smoking. Undergoing behavioral modification therapy, which enables you to get at the psychological causes underlying your cigarette use, is always a good idea.

Chantix is a type of an anti-smoking drug that has an effect that is very different from any other drugs of its type. Its main ingredient is Varenicline, which is a special kind of salt that has the capacity to directly work in the brain area. Research shows that the salt Varenicline works in the exact same way that nicotine does. Smokers, for a fact, get addicted to nicotine. And it is that substance which makes it harder for smokers to kick the habit by themselves.

Every time you smoke, nicotine is dispersed from the cigarette into the cells of your brain. And once it is there, it binds with the receptors and activates the pleasure cells. The pleasure that you derive from smoking is also the reason why your brain craves for cigarettes all the time. And if you heed that call, sooner or later, you'll get addicted to the substance.

But once Chantix had successfully replaced nicotine in your brain, you can slowly remove cigarette out of your system. Varenicline is believed to provide the body and the brain the same pleasure that nicotine provides. Therefore, your brain would reduce your craving for the substance less and less. At that point, it becomes easier for you to totally remove your harmful habit of smoking.

Chantix can block nicotine from binding with the brain receptors. This is how nicotine can be slowly eliminated from your body. Chantix keeps the same pleasure level that your brain gets from nicotine. But it is doing so with an entirely different substance that is not addictive at all.

By taking Chantix regularly, your brain thinks that it is getting a good round of nicotine. And so, it won't crave for it any longer. Your mind or your body won't long for cigarettes anymore. You just have to condition yourself not to give in to the temptation at the sight of a robust stick of cigarette. Keep in mind that Chantix is not a magic pill. You still have to exhibit will power in order to totally get over your smoking habit. Chantix simply makes the whole task of quitting a lot easier.

A person who is addicted to nicotine will find it hard to remove cigarettes out of his daily routines, and that's a given. Once your body starts to long for nicotine uncontrollably, it becomes very hard for you to suppress it. And if you try to stop smoking abruptly, withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, weight gain, depression, and mood swings will occur. These are the side effects you are bound to go through. And they could make it doubly hard for you to stop the habit.

It's good that Chantix was developed to help your body counter the effects of smoking, while making sure that you don't go through the withdrawal symptoms. As a prescription drug, doctors claim that it works best for people who are diagnosed to be smoking addicts. If you are one of them, try to talk to your doctor and find out whether or not Chantix would work for you.

Smokers have many incentives to quit smoking. The health risk of smoking is bigger today then at any other point in history. It seems that with each passing year more is known about cigarettes and the health problems that stem from them. The problem is not a lack of motivation or incentive on the smoker's part, but it is quite simply a hard addiction. There have been many stop-smoking aids that have been released in the last 15 years. Some of these include the Nicorette gum and the famous stop-smoking Patch. Recently however, there has been a new stop-smoking aid that has entered the market. Varenicline, sold under the name Chantix, has many people hopeful for a stop-smoking method that actually works.

Chantix was recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is the first stop-smoking aid to be approved by the FDA in almost 10 years. This has many people excited about the possibility that it may actually work. Although there have been some very positive test results shown with Chantix, it is still currently in the testing phase, and not available to the mass market. More will be known on the effects of Chantix once it is released.

In a nutshell, Chantix works by attaching itself to nicotine receptors in the brain, which is supposed to help prevent cravings. It does not actually contain any nicotine, instead containing Cytisine, which is commonly referred to as "False Tobacco". This differs from most stop-smoking aids which contain certain amounts of nicotine.

It is difficult to tell at this point whether or not Chantix will become the be-all and end-all of the stop-smoking aid world. Until more is known and more studies have been done, people should use caution before hailing Chantix as a miracle drug.

Quit smoking drugs have come along way since Zyban was introduced 10 years ago. There is a quit smoking drug out now called Chantix. It is considered one of the finest in the quit smoking drug market out there today. Chantix was introduced at the time when the nicotine related deaths from the WHO reports concerned the doctors of medicine.

Chantix contains the ingredient Varenicline which is a trademark drug and won FDA approval on May 11, 2006 for the treatment of smoking addiction in adults. Chantix is said to be a far greater quit smoking drug on the market today to help smokers deal with their smoking habits. The drug helps the smoker taper off from the nicotine to help them stop smoking so that they won't have the withdrawal symptoms.

Varenicline is the main ingredient of Chantix and it works differently than the other quit smoking meds in the past. With the varenicline ingredient it works similar to how the nicotine works. For example, as the smoker smokes, the nicotine goes right to the brain and binds itself to the nicotine receptor cells and it makes the pleasure cells react. Chantix acts the same way as the nicotine acts. The varenicline attaches itself with great intensity to the a4B2 neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors.

Chantix gives the smoker the same good feeling as the nicotine does, but the difference is that Chantix blocks the nicotine from binding with the receptors and aggravating the cells even more. The good thing about Chantix is that it does not have the nicotine additives in the drug. It is able to get the smoker away from their nicotine addiction gradually by withdrawing the smoker from it, but leaving them with the feel-good sense as does the nicotine. It makes quitting so much easier.

Chantix is much different from the rest of the quit smoking drugs out there because it takes away the zip that the nicotine has in cigarettes and smokers no longer enjoy smoking after they start using Chantix because Chantix stops the pleasure of smoking. When using this new smoking cessation method, the withdrawal symptoms becomes less of a problem with the smoker and makes it easier to quit. This is the anti-Smoking pill that works and gives great results.

Half of the different types of cancers are caused by nicotine.

Smoking causes heart disease, aneurysms, bronchitis, emphysema, and stroke, and also contributes to the severity of pneumonia and asthma.

Nicotine and other ingredients of tobacco damages women's reproductive health.

Cigarette smoking is also related with sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

Smoking also causes cataracts, bone thinning, hip fractures, and peptic ulcers.

How can cigarette be of any good when it is made up of tobacco which has around 4000 compounds out of which 100 are supposed to be poisonous? And more than 60 compounds are carcinogens; the cancer-causing agents. Moreover, cigarette manufacturers add extra compounds to enhance the pleasure of smoking, which include tar, ammonia, and even carbon monoxide. Public health for sure is at risk!

Out of all the smokers, 70% of the smokers want to quit smoke, 35% attempt to quit smoking every year while fewer than 5% actually achieve success. Would you like to know why the quitting smoke success rate is low... just because the power of nicotine addiction is more than the will power of the smokers. So if you wish to dump your Nico-love, you need to shift your preferences to something that will help you dislike the effects of nicotine on your brain. There is one medicine that has received the approval of the Food and Drug Association of the US this year, it works in the same way as nicotine does and thus competes with the feel-good effect of nicotine...the name is Chantix. This smoking cessation medicine helps you to control your cravings when you are trying to quit smoking. This new anti-smoking drug takes effect in the brain cells and makes you dislike the taste and effect of nicotine kick. So you do not feel like smoking any more!

Wondering...even YOU can detest the nicotine kick!! Don't say IMPOSSIBLE before trying. I bet! You can make it possible with CHANTIX!! Live a healthy, nicotine-free life thereafter...forever!! Good luck!

If you've been a smoker all your life and you've finally thought of kicking the habit for the sake of your health, the most effective stop smoking aid would be Chantix. According to Mayo Clinic, Chantix is the best smoking cessation aid of late that can dramatically reduce your urge to puff nicotine.

We've heard of thousands of people trying to quit smoking everyday, and in their effort to do so, they actually look for the best possible options online.

Chantix has been considered to be an excellent smoking cessation tool, although there are very few reviews stating the effectiveness of the same. However, with Mayo Clinic's verdict on the product, it seems to be the perfect choice to quit smoking and improve health as well.

Considering Chantix?

People who are trying to quit smoking are likely to have heard about Chantix as the best stop smoking aid. In order to start taking this medication you must first set a goal. It is extremely difficult to quit an addiction, and it is even more difficult to cope up with the after effects of quitting. Therefore, having a goal will prevent you from deviating.

Making the decision to quit is the most difficult step in the process. Chantix will definitely make it easier for you to quit smoking. Usually, smokers try to quit time and again because they fail often times. It is only on rare occasions or in case of severe health complications that people have successfully given up smoking. Various medications, different strategies and therapies and counseling sessions are not good enough until of course you are able and willing to take the charge.

Therefore, the best candidate for Chantix is someone who is determined to quit smoking.

About Chantix

Chantix is basically a non-nicotine medicine that has been specially developed to help people over 18 years of age to stop smoking. It is a prescribed medicine that has healed more than 6 million people in USA, and the reports have been extraordinarily good.

How does it Work?

Chantix does not contain nicotine, which is why it works best towards your aim to quit smoking. Usually, the smoking cessation treatments contain mild doses of nicotine to allow the smoker to gradually get out of the bad habit. However, Chantix has a totally different way of functioning.

There are certain receptors in the brain for nicotine. As a person smokes, he inhales nicotine that gets attached to the receptors. This in turn signals different parts of the brain to produce a chemical compound known as dopamine. Dopamine results in the intense feeling of pleasure and satisfaction as you smoke. However, it doesn't last long, and the body craves for more nicotine. This eventually becomes a fatal cycle that is usually difficult to quit.

Chantix works in these cases by targeting the nicotine receptors in our brain, attaching to them, and thereby blocking nicotine from reaching the same. This also results in less dopamine production, which is good for preventing the craving for nicotine.

Dosage

Set your goal, and mark a date. You must start taking recommended doses of Chantix a week before the date you have set for yourself. Usually, the course is of 12 weeks, starting with one pill a day, which is then gradually increased to two pills a day. An increased dose of medicine helps in reducing the chances of side effects and also helps in relieving the withdrawal symptoms.

Probable Side Effects

Taking Chantix can cause certain side effects like headache, nausea, gas, vomiting, insomnia, and overall discomfort sometime. However, these symptoms are very rare, and the body usually adjusts itself to the sudden nicotine withdrawal.

Quitting smoking isn't easy; it takes a lot of planning as well as persistence to last through the period of withdrawal symptoms. However, Chantix has proved to cause lesser symptoms, which is why it is considered to be the best.

It is not a matter of shame, every one fails on the first attempt when he tries to do something extraordinarily good or challenging. Yes, I do consider quit smoking a challenge and that is why I have another strong and valid reason to say: "Try and try till you succeed". It is not your fault that you are addicted to cigarette; Nicotine in the cigarette is responsible for your tobacco addiction. It is the sole chemical out of 4000 harmful chemicals which compels your brain to fall in love with cigarette.

The 'feel good' factor that you refer to as 'the kick' is the effect of nicotine which overpowers your brain for a few minutes and leaves you craving for the same kick afterwards. You, at the same time feel guilty thinking how harmful the cigarette is for your body and for the people around you. You cannot imagine yourself going the cold turkey way, as that would be too tough for you...but some with strong willpower have succeeded in quitting smoke that way.

During the last decade nicotine replacements were very popular, men and women could slowly get away from the menacing addiction by using nicotine patches, gums and inhalers. But these were nicotine supplements which meant that the body was still addicted to nicotine, and the main problem with this technique of quit smoking was, the smoker still waited for the "Nicotine Kick"! So the risk factor of relapse remained there.

Now imagine for a second....you smoke a cigarette but throw it away with distaste after two puffs! Seems impossible, right? But boy this is possible! Indeed! Man has learnt to understand the brain game and using this understanding it has solved many mind riddles. If nicotine addiction is responsible for cigarette smoking, how about making the brain dislike nicotine? Yes, the chemical Varenicline can make you dislike the nicotine effects on the brain. So it ensures that you will not like to smoke after you take the pill Chantix that contains Varenicline.

Chantix is the latest FDA approved drug for smoking cessation which has given a whole new perception to the quit smoking efforts. It works in the same way as nicotine does, and binds the brain receptors which are responsible for the 'feel good' factor and gives the same kick. But after using this quit smoking medicine, you just do not feel like smoking any longer. This is the best way to handle smoke cravings after you have started smoking cessation plan.

What else you need when you have the main weapon on your hand? You can control your cravings and slowly get rid of nicotine for life. Make the impossible possible with Chantix now, perhaps quit smoking was never so easy. Let the good angel take you to a life where no addiction, no disease bother you and you lead a long and happy life.

Many people have heard of the cold turkey quit smoking method but where does the phrase 'cold turkey' actually come from? Well, it is thought to be a description of the withdrawal effects that heroine addicts must endure when they stop using. One of these withdrawal symptoms is a cold sweat leading to goose pimples on a clammy skin. It's about the same a cold turkey before it goes in the oven at thanksgiving (without the butter of course!).

The origins of the phrase cold turkey also underline the extreme physical pain associated with heroine withdrawal. It is such a powerful drug (hence all the social problems it causes) that it leaves addicts with severe physical side effects when not taken. This extreme is erroneously transferred into the smokers' mind when using the cold turkey quit smoking method. Quitting smoking is nowhere near as painful!

Personally, I define the cold turkey quit smoking method as any method that does not employ the use of drugs or physical aids or 'crutches' to support the smoker. By this I mean the likes of nicotine replacement therapy (patches, gum, lozenges, spray etc.), chantix, zyban or any herbal treatment, fake cigarettes or aversion therapies.

I do consider things like cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnotherapy to fall into the cold turkey quit smoking method because they do not condone the use of drugs to try and assist the smoker. They condone the power of the mind to overcome the problem of nicotine addiction.

In the case of acupuncture and laser therapy, there is little evidence that these methods work and they both require physical interference. Anecdotally of course, there are many ex-smokers that used these methods but studies have shown no improvement in quit rates when compared to cold 'turkeyers'.

Hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy are both cold turkey quit smoking methods that are known to be effective. Cognitive behavioural therapy is a means of changing your thinking (cognition) and behaviour to a specific event, habit or aspect of life.

Unlike the classic cold turkey "lock-yourself-in-a-room-and-suffer" method of quitting smoking, hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy work by dealing with smokers' mental perceptions of smoking.

In the case of hypnotherapy as a cold turkey quit smoking method, the smoker may be 'taught' to respond to cravings for cigarettes by thinking about a pleasant time in their life to get over the craving. The smoker may also be 'taught' to dislike smoking. Many people successfully quit smoking using hypnosis but many fail too.

In the case of cognitive behavioural therapy, smokers are presented with a whole new view on smoking. It is a system by which the hugely complicated psychological trap of smoking, is broken down into bite-size pieces. Each piece of the trap is then dismantled, leaving smokers with little choice but to quit of their own free will.

Unlike the classic cold turkey quit smoking method, smokers who quit using cognitive behavioural therapy often report knowing that they have quit and that they will never smoke again. It is not the same with hypnotherapy or acupuncture or laser therapy.

I am of course a proponent of cognitive behavioural therapy. When I stopped smoking using this method, it was an epiphany. It was like my eyes had been opened after years in the darkness. The moment I stopped I knew I would never have another cigarette and it was a hugely liberating experience. However, it is not the same for everyone and there is no 'one-size-fits-all' method for quitting smoking.

Generally, my advice to all smokers is to try any and every method to find the one that works for them. There are many ways to get off cigarettes and the cold turkey quit smoking method is just one of them.

Spending money on money-back guaranteed systems first is the best approach because if that system doesn't work, you can get your cash back and move onto the next. If it does work, it will be money well spent. But my final and most important piece of advice to any would be quitter is to never give up trying to quit, no matter how soul destroying the process seems.

This is not the most affordable stop smoking drug on the market. There are other products on the market that smokers can buy to help them quit such as nicotine gum, herbal alternatives, Zyban, and others. So, how can the consumer justify the high price of Chantix when there are other products on the market to help them quit their addiction?

Since Chantix was released in 2006, thousands of smokers have been freed from their nicotine addiction and are now living free of cigarettes for the first time in years - for some people even decades. The effectiveness of this new cessation drug has been proven in clinical tests. In addition to these clinical tests, a simple search online produces pages and pages of positive reviews with the exception of a few smokers who experience side effects that keep them from continuing their dosage. So, the effectiveness of Chantix among most users is unquestioned.

Chantix works by blocking nicotine from being taken into the parts of the brain that release dopamine. This activity blocks the positive reinforcement each time a smoker inhales cigarette smoke. By blocking this reinforcement, smoking loses its drawing power and eventually the person's physical addiction to nicotine drastically diminishes. When the nicotine is not keeping the person tied to the cigarettes, the smoker is free to deal with breaking the habit of lighting up.

When we compare the cost of smoking to the price of Chantix, over time quitting is obviously much cheaper. With health costs increasing along with heavy taxes being levied on tobacco products, smoking is becoming more and more expensive. The price of a pack of cigarettes averages $4.50. According to this average, a single pack per day costs about $31.50 per week. That's an annual cost of about $1642. To put this into perspective, if someone who is 40 puts what he would normally spend on cigarettes into a 401k earning an annual rate of 9.0% per year, he would have nearly $250,000 by age 70.

It is for those who want an easier cessation experience and those who have been addicted to cigarettes for many years, but have failed to quit numerous times. With the cost of tobacco product taxes increasing each year among the states, the move to break free of cigarettes has never been more popular. If you are looking for the best chance of success, you can be sure Chantix is worth its relatively high price as it is unmatched among all the cessation programs available on the market today.

The health hazard label on every cigarette pack is very clear. Yet there are millions of people who know it and still continue putting their health at risk. Everyone knows smoking is not healthy. Because of it's addictive nature few have the motivation to fight the uphill battle to give up the "smokes".

Although a countless number of people can be seen addicted to this, there are still some who are willing to quit smoking. This can be rather difficult, especially because of the unpleasant cravings they get and also the nicotine withdrawal symptoms. Quit smoking aids are necessary during such situations in order to reduce the cravings and addictions.

The advantage of living in a world with high technology and having a globalized market is that a wide variety of quit smoking aids can be easily found. Some of the most commonly used quit smoking aids can be stated as nicotine gum, nicotine patches, lozenges, inhalers, medications, hypnosis and herbal remedies, nicotine nasal sprays, etc.

Not everyone can use nicotine patches or gum as it will not work the same way. It varies from one another. Quit smoking aids help a person stop their unhealthy habit of smoking and also relieving them the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal.

Some of the noted quit smoking aids in the market have been stated as Zyban and Chantix. Zyban is not advised to be used by everyone although it is known to reduce the discomforts associated with nicotine withdrawal. There are some who have made an effort, yet have been unsuccessful in quitting smoking. For individuals like that, Zyban has been the answer as a means to stop smoking once and for all. There have been certain side-effects linked to the drug that include having a dry mouth, dizziness, migraine headaches, insomnia and a change in appetite.

Chantix is another quit smoking aid that many use today. Using this has helped reduce the level of satisfaction that many smokers used to derive in the past and also minimize the nicotine withdrawal symptoms. People who use Chantix find it an easy, painless process of supporting their goal of quitting smoking. The pleasure of smoking melts down and as a result, they become reluctant to take another puff.

What if there is a better way that does not involve drugs, patches or will power? If their was a magic pill then smoking would be drastically reduced in our country. There is not one. However, I've stumbled upon a treatment that is proving to be very successful. It is laser treatment for smoking cessation. Cold Laser Stop Smoking Therapy is a non invasive holistic procedure. It has been used in Europe successfully for 30 years with an 85% success rate. The laser treatment is applied on several external points and stimulates nerve endings underneath the skin on the ears, face, and hands. It works with the meridians in the body bringing balance to organs that may not be functioning at optimal levels. The Laser stimulates the release of endorphins which work on relief of stress and pain in our system, producing a feeling of well-being. The only drawback I can see is that you can't do this at home. You must go to a local laser treatment center. So, before you give up on being able to stop smoking give some thought and do your research on this nontraditional treatment for smoking cessation.

Puffing away at the cigarette without any care and concern for the consequences can yield terrifying results in the long run. And if the smoker is a woman the results can be more harmful than you can ever imagine. A woman earns the highest respect when she bears a child in her womb but what if she becomes the cause of its death. The life giver becomes a life taker. Many incidents of children dying in the womb of smoking mothers have been recorded and if you do not intend to be a part of such a record then smoking cessation is the requisite which you should adopt on an urgent basis.

Now let’s focus on the inexhaustible range of illnesses that befell you once you get addicted to nicotine and are unable to get rid of the disastrous habit of smoking. What are the specific illnesses that can occur to a smoking woman if she shows unwillingness to kick the smoking habit? Well, the list is exhaustive and it incorporates vaginal bleeding, heart attacks, stroke and various cardiovascular diseases. To add more to the list of woes, women who smoke are12 time more at risk of having lung cancer in comparison to the women who donot smoke.

But how do women overcome this problem of nicotine addiction? Obviously the first requirement is to get hold of the proper information on the adverse affects of nicotine so that the mind recognizes the immense harm caused by nicotine and vows to get rid of its dependence. Avoiding the company of smokers, not visiting cigarette shops frequently and a plethora of other behavioral methods can help you quit smoking but there is no guarantee that you would be able to kick the habit just by adopting these measures.

Experimentally, it has been proved that girls, in general, are more prone to get addicted to nicotine and have a slower functional system to eliminate nicotine from their body in comparison to men. So they need to adopt extra caution to prevent them from getting trapped in nicotine addiction and if they are already addicted they should opt for supplementary anti-smoking measures capable of providing relief from nicotine addiction.

One effective medicine to induce smoking cessation is Chantix which is extensively available on online pharmacies as well as in the neighboring drug stores. The need is to consult a physician if you are unable to get rid of smoking addiction and then obtain Chantix prescription from him. Chantix, the Pfizer manufactured anti-smoking drug has got the approval of the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) on 11 May, 2006 as an anti-smoking treatment in adults and as such the medicine is safe and effective for you.

So, gals! Hopefully all my elaborations on smoking and smoking induced difficulties and their apparent solution have captured your attention? Mind the fact that it is you girls who are mostly vulnerable if you get hooked to the disastrous habit of smoking. So think, analyze and then act!

You might think it unbelievable, but nicotine patch addiction is a reality! Smokers who try to quit using nicotine patches or other replacement therapies often report being unable to come off the patches or gum for many more months than expected in the pharmaceutical company's guide literature.

OK, on the face of it, putting up with nicotine patch addiction is far less harmful to your health than smoking tobacco, but it is going to be an enormous drain on your finances in the long run!

Looking at the concept of using nicotine patches to help you quit might seem like a good idea but in my opinion it most definitely isn't. A patch merely provides you with an alternative source of nicotine than cigarettes so it is reasonable to expect that you may succumb to nicotine patch addiction.

The bad news is that on the slim chance that you quit smoking using this approach (see later in this article) there is a good chance you will no longer be a smoker but you will succumb to nicotine patch addict instead! Worse still, if you manage to wean yourself off the patch, there is a good chance you will succumb to smoking again because you have not addressed the core relationship you have with tobacco.

You see, the reason why you smoke cigarettes is because of nicotine addiction so staying addicted to nicotine (by using patches) is going to increase your susceptibility to want to smoke and therefore put yourself back at square one - a smoker. If you are not addicted to nicotine, you will have no need to smoke will you?

When nicotine patches were first launched, a little after nicotine gum, there were some very skewed studies conducted on the effectiveness of the approach. It has since come to light that the original claims of 40-50% made in the late 1970s and early 1980s are complete flannel! The accepted improvement in your chances is from 5% with cold turkey to 10% with nicotine patches although there is still room for debate:

According to Chen et al., "Randomized, double blind, placebo controlled study of transdermal nicotine patch for smoking cessation" J Formos Medical Association, 97(8), 547-51, August 1998, "... there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of smokers (one group on nicotine patch and one group on placebo patch) after one year of follow-up."

The same can be said now of newer approaches like Chantix and Zyban to help you quit smoking. Original studies on both of these drugs have reported success rates that have not been repeatable in independent studies. Original studies were funded by the pharmaceutical companies so there was a motive to report very high success rates.

In my opinion, becoming free of nicotine is the only way to stop smoking and to become tobacco free for life you must change your attitude towards tobacco and your relationship with tobacco. Cognitive behavioural therapy is just such an approach for quitting smoking. It helps smokers look at each facet of their addiction and smoking and guides them to changing their attitudes to them.

Unlike nicotine replacement therapies, cognitive behavioral therapies and hypnosis (for example) work on the core foundation that more of the addictive substance is not going to help you. In my view, staying away from nicotine replacement patches is a good way of staying away from nicotine patch addiction.

If you are a smoker who is trying to quit those evil nicotine sticks, it is only normal that you want to know about effective quit smoking ways that you could try. You are killing yourself and you know it so you don't want to waste time with ineffective methods do you?

The problem with finding an effective quit smoking method is that you are an individual and what will work for you may not have worked for virtually all other smokers. On the other hand, what may work for you may well be the same approach that has worked for many other smokers.

The thing is, to quit smoking effectively; you will only ever do it once. To quit smoking for a year then start again or for a month and then start again is not a successful attempt in the truest sense. Once you have quit, you would always advise people to use the method that worked for you right? In that sense, it is difficult to advise you.

So what effective quit smoking ways are available for you to investigate? There are many available and choosing one is a very personal choice. Only you can assess what is likely to fit in with who you are.

The approaches available range from pharmaceutical approaches including drugs and nicotine replacement therapy, to holistic approaches including acupuncture and herbal treatments, through to psychological approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy and hypnosis. Finally, there is the trusty old willpower method with its very low chance of success.

The pharmaceutical approaches include two main drugs, only available on prescription, including Varenicline (sold as Chantix in the US and as Champix in Europe) and Zyban. Zyban has been in use for about 10 years now, whilst 2008 will be the second year of availability for Chantix.

It is easy to think that these pharmaceutical approaches offer a miracle cure but it is important to realize that there are risks associated with using drugs. Before you set your heart on a drug-based cure, make sure you talk to your doctor to help you decide if it is the right path for you.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) has been around for a couple of decades now and is often used in conjunction with Zyban, to increase the chances of success of both. NRT is available in gum, patches, lozenges, nasal sprays and inhalers and is usually as expensive as smoking itself. As a treatment, it is thought to double your chances of success compared to quitting cold turkey but there are many observers willing to argue against the effectiveness of NRT.

Holistic approaches are also available in forms such as acupuncture or herbal therapies or laser treatments or even 'bioresonance' whatever hokum that is. These approaches have not been tested using standard scientific trials like the ones used to evaluate pharmaceuticals, NRT, hypnosis or CBT. There is much anecdotal evidence to suggest that holistic approaches are effective quit smoking ways to try, but the scientific evidence is absent so it is difficult to comment.

Hypnosis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) are two other commonly acknowledged methods for helping people quit smoking. Hypnosis uses the hypnotic state to bypass analytical thinking and allows the therapist to seat new or different views in the subjects mind. It has been successfully trailed and has been found to have a positive effect on people quitting smoking.

Many people who have quit think of hypnosis as one of the more effect quit smoking ways available not least because it is an enjoyable relaxing process. Success however can depend on the therapist and no two hypnosis styles or scripts are the same.

CBT differs from hypnosis by challenging the thinking of a smoker head on. It allows the smoker to use their rational conscience to analyse and evaluate a different view of smoking. It does this by breaking smoking down into a number of components and then addressing each component one by one in an educational approach.

CBT is often reported as being an enlightening approach for quitting smoking; giving people an enormous feeling of confidence once they 'see the light'. Comparative testing has shown CBT to be a very effective method for quitting the evil cancer sticks.

Both hypnosis and CBT boast good long-term success rates. But if there is one flaw in these approaches though, it can make quitting smoking seem very easy and lull smokers into thinking they can choose when and when not to be a smoker. This is not advisable; once you have quit, you should stay quit!

Finally, the cold turkey method for quitting smoking faces smokers with the greatest challenges. They are expected to confront smoking head on without support or education unlike any of the other approaches. This often results in complete failure and only about 5% of people who try to quit smoking this way succeed.

However, the chances of long-term success are very good with an Australian study showing that of all the ex-smokers asked, almost 90% had quit smoking cold turkey, without support or education.

The fact of the matter is that there are many effective quit smoking ways you can try - the successful one for you could be any of them and it is only once you have tried them all that you will know what works for you.

For many reasons, quitting smoking is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your loved ones. As much as the disease affects the people around you, the process of quitting also requires their support or cooperation. For the most part however, it is your decision and determination to quit smoking that predicts the outcome.

There are different ways to quit smoking, and these ways or methods affect people differently. It is safe to say that there is no one-fits-all approach in ditching the bad habit. The best thing to do then is know all the methods there are and try to see which one works best for you. Here are some suggestions on how to quit smoking:

1. Cold turkey. Quitting cold turkey, or quitting smoking altogether and without any outside support, is done by just too many smokers. Often, they end up trying, relapsing, trying, and relapsing again. It's no wonder that this approach doesn't lead to much success. Only a few succeed at quitting smoking this way.

2. Nicotine Replacement Therapy. Nicotine Replacement Therapy, or NRT for short, employs the use of gum, patches, inhalers, and lozenges in lieu of smoking. It has a success rate of 50% to 100%. This therapy works best when combined with behavioral therapy.

3. Behavioral therapy. With a behavioral therapist, you work on gaining insight into what started you smoking, what triggers you to smoke, and what your best method of quitting smoking would be. You then devise a behavioral pattern that supports non-smoking, often requiring the support of family, coworkers, and friends.

4. Medicine. With your doctor's prescription, you can control the urge to smoke by taking certain drugs such as Zyban and Chantix.

5. Combination treatments. As it suggests, combining two or more methods might be the right method for you to quit smoking. The medical approach requires the involvement of your doctor, so it would be good to couple it up with behavior therapy as well. Also, when you are taking medications or NRT, for example, you would likely need the help of family members or friends.

Other important things to keep in mind when quitting smoking are:

1. Knowing and avoiding triggers. This means you should avoid things or situations that drive you to smoke. It may mean not going to bars or hanging out with smoking friends.

2. Understanding physiological reactions. Feeling irritable, tired, or depressed are common symptoms of withdrawal. Be prepared to experience it, but stay on the course.

3. Employing will power. Family and friends take on the role of supporters; you are the main actor. The decision to quit, stay on the course, and avoid triggers all come from you. Exercise those will-power muscles to success!

4. Developing new habits. Quitting smoking can create a vacuum in your routine, so you might as well develop new habits to fill that up. Take on a new hobby; take up sports, make new friends, or go to new places.

As a last tip, remember that oftentimes, approaches or methods don't work right on the first try. You have to keep at it until you see signs of success.

Nicotine Nasal Spray: Nicotine is absorbed rapidly into the bloodstream through a prescription nasal spray. The spray eliminates cravings and withdrawal symptoms when used. The FDA alerts the user to addictive properties inherent in the nasal spray and does not allow it to be prescribed for longer than 6 months. Side effects include: runny nose, sneezing, throat irritation, coughing, watery eyes and nasal irritation. Nasal spray is not recommended for those with allergies, asthma, nasal polyps or sinus problems. See your doctor for alternatives.

Nicotine inhaler- A prescription method developed in 1998. The inhaler is similar to smoking a cigarette, using a plastic tube that contains a nicotine cartridge. The quitter puffs on the inhaler to administer a nicotine vapor. Recommended dosage: 6-16 cartridges per day for up to 6 months.

Side effects: coughing, throat irritation, upset stomach.

These are the most expensive form of NRT.

The Lozenge- Nicotine lozenges are the newest NRT on the market. The FDA approved an over-the-counter smoking cessation aid in a lozenge called the Commit. The lozenge is available in 2mg and 4mg. As with the gum, the quitter administers as need and cravings surface. The manufacturer recommends a 12 week program, 1 lozenge every 1-2 hours for 6 weeks. Tapering off gradually by using one lozenge every 2-4 hours for week 7 through week 9 and one lozenge every 4-8 hours for the final two weeks.

The Commit manufacturer recommends:

"Stop all tobacco use when beginning therapy with the lozenge.

Do not eat or drink for 15 minutes before using the lozenge. (Some beverages can reduce the effectiveness of the lozenge).

Suck on the lozenge until it dissolves. Do not bite or chew it like a hard candy, and do not swallow it.

Do not use more than 5 lozenges in 6 hours, or more than 20 lozenges total per day.

Stop using the lozenge after 12 weeks. If you still feel you need to use the lozenge, talk to your doctor.

Do not use the lozenge if you continue to smoke, chew tobacco, use snuff or any other product containing nicotine (e.g., nicotine patch or gum)."

Side effects: sleeping problems, nausea, coughing, headache, heartburn, hiccups and flatulence (gas).

Despite the side effects, NRT has been proven to be an effective tool for smokers who decide it is time to quit. No one method is better than any other and the smoker/quitter can decide for themselves which method might help them the most. Is it that you need to replace the oral fixation that smoking provides and will be missed with the cessation of smoking? Is it important not to be reminded of smoking, using a once a day convenience??

Aside from NRT, there are also prescription medications you can ask your doctor about to assist you with quitting smoking. Some are used in conjunction with NRT. Bupropion (Zyban) and Varenicline (Chantix) are the two new prescription medications available. Zyban is an antidepressant and Chantix is specific designed to help you quit smoking. Ask your doctor what is right for you.

If you are thinking about offering your employees a program to stop smoking, how do you choose the program that is best for your company? There are so many options out there-from hypnosis to drugs like Chantix to teleseminar classes. How can your company get smokers and chewers to participate without a complete revolt or cranky employees?

When choosing the right stop-smoking program for your company, your company could provide a variety of options to help your employees quit smoking. Research has shown that offering more than one smoking cessation program tends to confuse and overwhelm employees. If offered too many choices, they don't join any of the stop-smoking programs.

Instead of offering a confusing array of choices, consider having a stop-smoking professional help your company assess the needs of your employees and offer advice on which stop-smoking group or program would be best. I often do this for my clients, at no charge and no obligation.

To get the best-possible results from a smoking cessation program, be sure to choose one that focuses on making behavioral changes over time, because smoking is both a psychological and a physical condition. In fact, most recommended programs take up to six weeks to prepare a smoker to quit.

Smokers and chewers need time to detoxify from nicotine. Smokers and chewers also need time to change their behaviors, routines, and habits. It takes at least twenty-one days to break a habit.

How do you encourage your employees to take advantage of your smoking cessation program?

Keep in mind that even if you've chosen the best smoking cessation program around, it is often hard to get smokers to take advantage of it, even though they might want to quit smoking or chewing.

Most smokers say that a lack of time and money are the biggest reasons they don't want to participate. So what can you do to get your employees to commit to quitting smoking?

The best way to solve the time issue is to choose a class system that is extremely convenient and flexible for everyone. Teleseminar-based quit smoking programs like the one offered by Nicotine Solutions are ideal because they can be attended from just about anywhere. Classes can be run on-site during lunch hours or after work as well.

Some companies decide to pay 100% of the costs of a smoking cessation for their employees. But this can backfire because the employee does not have a personal investment in the program. In fact, programs that do not cost the employee anything are sometimes viewed as worthless. If your company truly wants to pay the entire tuition for the quit smoking program, you can certainly do that or another option is you can reimburse all (or part) of the costs after the employee has remained smoke-free for a set amount of time. Say, six months or a year. Or you can offer partial payment up front. Then reimburse the balance at the end of a set period of time.

The final way I'm going to suggest you handle the money objection is also the one I've found to be most effective. Simply create liberal payroll deduction plans to cover the tuition of the stop-smoking program that way the student has a personal investment in the process, and it doesn't cost your company anything to help smokers quit.

Whatever stop smoking program you decide to offer, don't forget that in order for it to be a success, you need to do more than just put it in place. Proper planning, promotion, and follow-up are all required if you want you employees to participate.

Over the past three decades more and more adults are quitting smoking. This is a great revolution which hopefully will continue. While we are celebrating our success we are often overlooking a major smoking factor; our teens are beginning to pick up the habit. Since they are not going to smoke in front of you they may already be addicted to nicotine before you find out they smoke. Studies show that many under-age smokers light up as early as the eighth grade. This means they could very well be addicted to nicotine before they graduate. Many teenagers start smoking because they see their parents smoke at home. Teenagers look at their parents as being adult and they aspire to be more like them. Others light up because one of their friends encourages them. It is much harder to say no to friends than it is to parents. They might not enjoy that first cigarette but because their friends sat it is cool they will try again. It doesn't take long for addiction to take hold.

Stop Smoking - A Worthy Battle

Everyday we hear somebody say "just stop smoking". This is an easy statement to make for someone who has never smoked. People who have never smoked do not understand the powerful addiction caused by nicotine. Also, how can we tell our teens to stop smoking if we smoke ourselves? The best deterrent for teens is simply education and support. Parents need to take a realistic look at their teen's lives. Who are their friends, what do they do for entertainment? Get to know their friends and accept them. Offer education on the dangers of smoking; get graphic with pictures if you have to. Encourage them to talk to you about the pressure they are under. Let them know you don't intend to punish them. The fear of punishment will only discourage them from being honest with you.

There are some alarming factors associated with teenage smoking. Many of them start as early as the eight grade and over half of high school students have at least tried cigarettes. The chance of premature death due to smoking is about five times higher than any other cause of death. Many smokers will die from smoking related causes as early as their twenties. If you find out your teen is addicted to nicotine help them get the tools they need to stop smoking. There are many programs and smoking cessation aids available for you to choose from. If you smoke, it is important that you also put forth the effort to stop. The greatest success comes with a good support system. Exercise and good nutrition help to teach a healthy lifestyle.

If you want to help your teen to stop smoking you have to help them understand the dangers and risks. If they fall off the wagon, be there to help them get up and start again. By helping them through the stop smoking process you will be helping them to add many years to their lives.

Each year approximately 500 smokers die as a direct result of using Zyban. This in itself is of course a way to quit smoking. However, that's not what we would recommended;-)

What about other Online sites, stop smoking hypnosis, etc.

Frankly, as far as I could discover and study them, most other online quit smoking solutions, websites, hypnosis, electric cigarettes etc. ... in my humble opinion, it's all ... Yes, in fact, D.b. quitting is a very serious thing and a big problem for many people around the world. Unfortunately, smart marketing «exploid this problem and are looking for some quick victories by promising anything until you buy their stuf. By now, you should already know that I am the real deal, being a chain-smoker for over twenty-two years. In the meantime I've been characterised by national and international press because quitting painless cure nears your stop smoking addiction a mental ' perspective ' because that is where it is hiding your real problem/addiction.

What I found useful was painless care smoking stop by Eric Early. It used to be an ex-smoker who has smoked for 22 years before he discovered how he could make a "mental step" in his brain, which made quitting the easiest thing.

It is said that Chantix (varenicline) is an anti-smoking medication product Pizer incl and is approved by the FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) for the anti-smoking treatment in adults. Regarding the effectiveness of Chantix the word has spread around that the drug causes the same effects of nicotine into brain cells and provides relief from nicotine addiction. I am convinced with the facts mentioned above? If you are not familiar with Chantix may be oblivious to the events surrounding the launch of the drug in the pharmaceutical market, its approval by the FDA and the results shown by the medication in the treatment of smoking addiction in adults.

With regard to the manufacture of Chantix from Pfizer and its approval by the FDA, there can be no doubts as to the accuracy of those facts as Chantix is well-known for being the product of Pfizer and FDA approval has earned from drugs on May 11, 2006 is also no longer a secret. And finally the truth about the drug's functional process? Well, Chantix really work by replacing the effects of nicotine in the brain and is the real secret behind the success of the drug.

The main cause behind the addiction to nicotine is pleased to hear that the brain gets once the harmful substance combines with the nicotine receptor cells in the central nervous system of the brain. How the body gets hooked to the feeling of pleasure caused by nicotine, the user frequently suffers from nicotine cravings and keeps on consume of cigarettes and other tobacco products containing substances.

But if by chance, that, who was shot repeatedly under the grip of nicotine, substance meets the anti-smoking drug Chantix, his whole life is saved from falling apart. But the escape from nicotine addiction never happens overnight or within one or two hours after administration of any medication. A dedicated anti-smoking approach and implemented according to the instructions persevered physician produces successful results and slowly and gradually the person gets rid of nicotine addiction.

On peering closely, it was discovered that replacing the effects of nicotine in the brain is the main factor that ultimately leads to the user always curated by nicotine. The administration of the drug, Chantix stop smoking causes drugs coming into contact with the nicotine receptor cells and consequently the person gets the same feeling of pleasure provided by nicotine without necessarily hiring and firing of harmful substance for the body.

Hopefully, the logic applied here makes sense for you and now you have got a fair idea about the anti-smoking drug chantix. If this is not the case and you are not satisfied with what I've said so far, then you are invited to browse through cyberspace and find the answer. And you can make another step: ask your doctor to clear your doubts about Chantix.

There are so many aids to quit smoking different to choose from that it's hard to know where to start sometimes. In this article, an ex-smoker Comments on different types of grants available and sort the good from the bad.

Then it is time to stop. You have made the right choice, especially compared to some smokers who don't want nemmeno exit, I am so disappointed. But where should you start? The coup to stop smoking? The pill? The patch? Let's look at each in turn.

Medicines

A drug is a very convenient way to get treatment, but surprisingly, there are really only 2 stop smoking pills available on the market (there are many others in the developing world). The first is known as Zyban and the second is Chantix. Work on the level of brain chemistry and stop getting cravings.

So why haven't more cravings, you can more easily get cigarettes. The bad thing about them is that they don't take forever so eventually your desire will be back though since you should have quit already. Secondly, they can have bad side effects-for example, nausea is quite common with Chantix that producers admit freely.

Injections or shots

This is even cheaper than the pill. Imagine being able to take a shot that will stop from getting any desire. Sounds great in theory, but the reality is a little different.

First of all, there is no hit on the market still available. There are many that have been developed and in tests so unless you're one lucky volunteer, you won't be able to get access to them.

The second thing is that even if they are much easier to quit smoking, as the pill are not meant as a permanent solution. You will need to stop the recruitment and return the cravings. You must remember that, although in an injectable form, these drugs are not vaccines – your body doesn't produce antibodies that will last for the rest of your life. They are drugs that work on the chemistry of the brain.

Magnets

Magnets, laser and acupuncture. They all work the same way. The idea is that by stimulating the pressure points on the ear, you'll get less cravings and find it easier to quit. Unfortunately, the effect is only temporary.

Patch

By now, you're probably seeing a common theme. All these for quitting aids work by reducing your cravings. Guess what make patches? You guessed it, kill your cravings. In fact, patch work differently-they're a replacement method.

This means that quit smoking immediately and go on the patch, so you still get the nicotine dose. Reduce the dosage of patches over a couple of weeks before giving up on patches.

So patches are actually very different because they are basically low cut-a bit like cutting down on cigarettes. Unlike other methods, there is no attempt to temporarily eliminate the cravings.

The verdict

There are many different methods out there to quit smoking. The unfortunate thing with all of them is that all deal with the symptoms of addiction, the desire and only temporarily. None of them actually address the causes of addiction.

I saw this question in many stop smoking forum but the answers tend to focus on the promotion of a solution. Actually smokers who want to quit they usually have a number of choices.
The other truth is. .. There isn't any better way.

While it's a fair question to ask, a better question is "what is the best way to quit smoking for me?" Depending on their circumstances, one or more of the options could help without breaking the trap to smoke.

In this article we will talk about: prescription drugs, quit smoking aids and popular alternatives such as "cold turkey," hypnosis and acupuncture and explain how each job so you can decide which is best for you to try.

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS:

People are introduced to drugs by the medical profession because products like Chantix and Zyban require prescriptions. These drugs have the potential for significant side effects and then access is controlled.

Prescription drugs work by reducing the cravings still continuing to smoke up to select a date for quitting, usually after a period as two weeks. That you will continue to take the drug for a period after quitting help alleviate withdrawal symptoms. Critics of these medicines to choose other alternatives available to help with cravings and without the risk of prescription drugs pose. These alternatives include the category of aids to quit smoking.

STOP SMOKING AIDS:

Stop smoking aids can now be bought over the counter without a prescription. Aids to quit smoking include patches, gum and lozenges. These are also referred to as nicotine replacement therapy or NRT.

Both patches and gum work on reducing nicotine addiction by controlling how much nicotine enters the bloodstream at a predetermined speed. It steps down the exposure until you have the cravings. If you are using a patch or gum depends on your preference. They both work the same way.

NRT products can take a number of attempts at work and expenses may rise quickly. As drugs, quit smoking aids main disadvantage is that it does not deal with the habit of smoking that can remain dormant for many years and suddenly have triggered by an event back to the cigarette smoker.

COLD TURKEY:

Other choices of drugs and aids are "cold turkey", acupuncture and hypnosis.

Quit smoking "Cold Turkey" is the term used to describe someone who sets a date for quitting, and on that date determines not to smoke more cigarettes. No drugs, no aids, just pure willpower ... and a lot of support. "Cold turkey" can operate under your own personal circumstances and attitude.

Traditionally, people a hypnotist certified to see at least one session where the hypnotist works with the smoker to change the way their subconscious mind views the smoking habit.

Working with a Hypnotherapist smoker is equipped with techniques and tools to strengthen the sessions and assist with any wish they may persist. More recently the hypnosis stop smoking products such as those on CDs or sessions that you can download from the internet have become popular.

All medications have side effects so far discovered from minimum to maximum level for which a section of people always have doubts about their effectiveness. Even after being prescribed by a doctor to people are inhibited to incorporate drugs in their anti-smoking scheme for fear that attempts to induce quit smoking through chemically synthesized drugs could produce results dramatically. The pure drug side effects become visible sooner or later after their recruitment.

Most of the drugs available at the nearby pharmacy undoubtedly have side effects but while paying attention to the harmful effects of these drugs occasionally you should also consider the fact that the benefits derived from drugs approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) how far exceed their occasional Chantix side effects like headache, insomnia, nausea and as such when smoking induced ailments press it hard can hope to relieve yourself through proper anti-smoking medication.

But it's not an easy process altogether to get rid of smoking addiction. But why? What are the obstacles that prevent you from smoking? The obstacle before and above all is the chemical nicotine found in tobacco products. Due to this fact, smokers all over the world feel more cigarette cravings as they pass by a tobacco shop trading containing substances. Try repeatedly and not with all their energies proving futile in front of the power of nicotine.

Which method would you recommend them to take in a moment so critical? They should quietly endure the evils of cigarette smoke in their lungs, heart, eyes, throat, urinary tract, sexual organs and other body parts? There is no point to stand back and as such if your doctor may want to try an anti-smoking medication, it would be reasonable to opt for it. Here I would like to add that the recent FDA approved the anti-smoking drug Chantix is making waves in anti-smoking market.

The money you spend on Chantix won't go wasted for the drug is clinically tested and found effective for inducing smoking cessation in adults. Chantix functions similarly to its nicotine formidable foe. The operating process begins with chantix drug in combination with nicotine receptor cells in the brain and produce the same sensation induced by nicotine. While continuing the Chantix provides an additional benefit to the consumer which is the protective cover that gives the brain cells from the harmful effects of nicotine. So now what are the plans of sleeve? Mind the fact that nicotine addiction can cause a range of diseases in you and erectile dysfunction, cancer of various parts such as mouth, lungs and kidneys are the worst thing that can happen to you if you have not been able to leave the smoking habit that you have started a long time back.

Sometimes, the aids that are supposed to help people quit smoking contain nicotine. Ironically, this is the very drug that smokers are attempting to get out of their system. However, the idea is that, in controlled doses, these new stop smoking medicines can help wean the smoker out of their drug addiction.

Are you confused by the plethora of smoking cessation aids on the market today? Maybe you've even heard the retort that if a quit smoking aid works then why do we have so many others? Well, the truth of the matter is that nothing that is nobody smoking cessation treatment is good for all people. Take for example the volume of antibiotics we have today on the market. If you just looked at the surface and didn't know some basic science you would think that the market is just overcrowded. When in fact there are millions of insects out there. And nobody anti-biotic works on all their effectiveness.

Quit smoking aids is no different. Here's what I mean. Some people who smoke one or two packets a day are at a completely different level of their addiction versus the social smoker. The creators of these treatments are really trying to give you what you want. A safe and effective regime against the smoke that is easy to do and it will work. So you've got a triple combination of these treatments. Now, the best treatments to date are those that combine two or more schemes to combat addiction.

Aren't you worth it? Of course. So stop trying to be the superhero and taking only a treatment. No longer, or what I call the triple combination for quitting smoking helps. The first is aids smoking nicotine based. These include the nasal spray, gum, patches and trans-skin products like these that represent a good first line of offense.

The second is the basic drug for smoking cessation aids. This includes prescription drugs like Chantix, Zyban and over counter varieties in other countries such as Canada. These drugs Act on receptors in various formats to curb your cravings for nicotine. to a minimum. The final treatment is to use to stop smoking aids that contain no drugs at all. Why not? You have nothing to lose, but cigarettes. Under this category would include herbal treatments for smoking cessation assistance as well as therapists and Hypnotherapy, lasers and the like.

This whole idea of using a triple combination is gaining more and more momentum. The reason is that insurance companies are forcing employers to force their employees to quit smoking. I am interested in your savings. I am interested in your health. You really should make a concerted effort to move this addiction out of your life.

So the answer to all your problems are powerful magic spells and prayers.

Witches, Warlocks, Mages, shamans and saints throughout history have always raised themselves above the common lot of frustrated, hopeless individuals. How? Not from home work harder or longer. Not wishing and meditating. They tapped the secret power behind all different types of spells like magic spells, money spells, talismans, Charms, and prayers. While others moaned and fretted all around them, those few Masters enjoyed a fuller, richer. You can do the same. You smile as others cry. You will feel light and airy while others continue to be burdened. The pressures and obstacles of the mundane world will have no effect on you. Luck is incredible.

Happiness, harmony, luck, success, etc. are all these things that the ancients knew how to get there at our fingertips, and this has been made possible through the use of magic spells, prayers and songs.

Even if you're reading this topic on magical spell, very ancient principles of cosmic action are at work, triggered by your mind which is the source of all energies, the root of all magic spells, chants and prayers. This power is ready to respond to your will. No matter what you want, need or desire, no matter who you are, where you are or how you are, you can put the power to work for your fine now. After years of research in occult power source of mystics, witches, magicians and occultists in General, I found the key to their abilities. And the key to success is the positive thinking and positive energy from magical incantations, prayers and songs.

You can turn your hidden source of magical power in the same way that occultists and mystics have been made for centuries using Magic Spells, love spells, money spells, talismans, Charms, prayers and songs. And just as they did, realize your hidden potential, transform your life, achieve health, wealth and fame.

The biggest secret possessed by ancient mystics and occultists, that has been handed down from generation to generation by oral tradition, is this love spells magic spells, talismans, charms, prayers and songs of work effectively to the degree that they are charged with emotion. Spells do not work under ' magic FORMULA ' or under sentence structure (the uninitiated always look for the names of "power" and the words). Spells, prayers, chants, talismans, spells work because you want them to work, and this no matter the words used. The secret lies not in words and this no matter the words used. The secret lies not in words, but the emotional charge behind the words. Certainly there are formulized witches spells and Eastern songs. But the fact remains that without emotional charge behind them, they would have been but speak in vain, useless and empty words.

Anyone can use magic spells, love spells, money spells, talismans, Charms, and prayers. Modern scientific research tends to show that all people can be channels for the so-called mystical power. The strength of the energy available for the firewalker, shaman, sorcerer and the sorcerer is also available for the taxi driver, the Secretary, the President of the Bank and the beauty queen. No human being denied. In addition, the source of personal power can be used to solve any problem, spiritual or physical, psychological or material. In short magic spells, prayers, love spells, talismans and Charms can help, no matter your need or desire. You can be a hard working individual, and again for all your work, time and energy output, you get little in return. Here is where a curse can help, not a curse against another human being, but a curse against the barriers, obstacles and setbacks.

You can use spells of magic spells, love spells, money talismans, Charms, prayers and chants for their own benefit now and every day. The power which responds to them in an ageless power, the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Only the human mind has changed, filled as it is with all kinds of superimposed attitudes, prejudices and preconceptions. You can cast a spell on adversity, cursing the misfortune, pray for anything from spiritual light of material wealth or chant your sense of peace and harmony. For spells, prayers, curses and chants are no longer only products of magic and religion, but act on precise scientific principles, universal laws. The only thing in the way of what you want to is yourself.
