Most people who smoke want to get rid of this nasty habit, but that is very hard to achieve. The urge to smoke is much stronger than the willpower of people. People who do not smoke can not really understand how hard it really is and how much effort it takes. It has nothing to do with desire or willpower and finding an easy program that can help people quit smoking is what smokers really need.

The best stop smoking program

The human brain is just like a computer and it can be programmed and re-programmed. When the desire to smoke is deeply engraved in the subconscious, then changing it is not possible with willpower only. The key is to re-program the mind so the desire not to smoke is deeply engraved in the subconscious. That can be done very effectively with the latest NLP (Neuro-Linguistic-Programming).

A lot of times people are trying to force themselves to quit smoking but this just does not work. Expensive pills and patches and all kind of aids, that appear from everywhere are also not effective. Smokers are looking for something that is very effective, works quickly and is very simple.

Quitting smoking is only hard if you are using the wrong methods, but if you use the right methods then it is very easy. For some reason most folks try to do things the hard way, never even considering that there might be a much better and much more effective way. You could stop smoking today if you get the best stop smoking program, with a success rate of 99.7%. It does not get better that this.

What is it that claims to have nearly an 80% success rate in helping people quit smoking for good? The stop smoking shot, an increasingly popular approach that many are taking in order to overcome physical withdrawal symptoms and beat their nicotine addiction.

Few substances create as powerful an addiction as does nicotine. Many smokers have tried to quit, only to fail time and time again. For them, the realization that they can now just head on over to their doctor's office, receive a stop smoking shot, and stop craving cigarettes altogether is great news indeed.

But is it really that easy? Well, no, yet the quit smoking shot really does work, and is currently one of the most important and useful tools we have in the fight to quit smoking. But it is only one tool, and its effectiveness is maximized when it is used in combination with other tools.

While the quit smoking shot is quite effective at combating the physical addiction to nicotine, as vital and as important as that is, it does not target the psychological addiction, which is often times even more difficult to conquer. It is the psychological component of nicotine addiction that allows your cravings for cigarettes to keep controlling you. This takes patient, disciplined effort to break.

One very simple method for overcoming smoking's psychological addiction that many have found effective involves waiting a few minutes before you actually begin smoking whenever you feel like having a cigarette. You can begin by waiting about five minutes, and in a short while you should begin to regain at least a small degree of control over your desire for nicotine. Then you can start lengthening the waiting time to longer than five minutes.

Eventually, when you find that your cravings are controlling you less and less, you can limit your smoking to just certain hours in the day, and after that - when you find you have even greater control - you can try limiting yourself to only one cigarette in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. This method is one of the most effective ways to address the psychological aspect of nicotine addiction. And when used in combination with the stop smoking shot it is one of the most effective ways to quit smoking for good.

When you are looking to quit smoking, it is best to employ methods that target both the physical as well as the psychological addictions that are involved. It is a mistake to depend upon just one stop smoking aid, even one as effective as the quit smoking shot. A better perspective is to view the stop smoking shot as one more weapon at your disposal in your struggle to quit smoking for good.

Many people, many of whom are ex-smokers, believe that quitting smoking is hard. Truth is, you can quit smoking right now, easily, and without any withdrawal symptoms...all by quitting in a different manner from most people.

The most important thing to remember about quitting smoking is that you believe that it is hard, and that very belief makes it hard for you to quit. Trying to quit through all the other hokey "methods" out there doesn't really help, either.

The second thing is that when you stop, you aren't giving up anything. You're freeing yourself from the awful prison that cigarettes have you in, and that's one of the most liberating things you can do for yourself...as long as you know that. Otherwise, you'll be fighting against yourself the entire time, cursing yourself for trying to stop.

When you realize that quitting is an entirely positive thing (and that there isn't a thing to miss about smoking), you won't even be bothered by other smokers, or normal things that trigger you to smoke. The key is to understand the difference between what you think cigarettes do for you (relaxation, etc.) and what they actually do (temporarily relieve the anxiety and lack of concentration that they themselves cause) and that makes it very easy to stop.

Knowing where you need to be to quit, and actually being there mentally is the hardest thing that you'll need to do to quit smoking. Luckily, that's just a bit harder than reading this article.

The decision to stop smoking must be taken now than later as addictions are very difficult to stop. If a person has been a frequent smoker over a long time, then how to give up smoking would be a vital issue in cases like that. Smoking is a very tough addiction to break away as cigarettes includes the substance nicotine which is addictive to both the body and mind.

Studies show that once you finish smoking a cigarette, it would denote you have lost at least 5 -10 minutes of your life. Apart from causing your body to become weaker, smoking give rise to bad breath, wrinkles, yellow teeth, decrease bone density, fertility problems that will unavoidably affect the sexual health of both women and men, and the higher chances of being infected with deadly diseases such as throat cancer, lung cancer, etc. Smoking on a regular basis means the decrement of roughly 8 years or more out of your life. Wouldn't you instead learn how to cease smoking and add those years back?

There are many methods on how to quit smoking that can be obtained easily from various places. Medications are also given as a stop smoking remedy by many doctors today. Some smokers are administered with nicotine replacements such as nicotine gum's, nicotine patches, lozenges, inhalers, etc. But the problem with nicotine replacements as well as most medications is that they deal with mainly the physical aspect of how smoking affects the body. Solutions on how to quit smoking should be directed more on the mind than the body because this is where the main addiction lies.

Dealing with the mind is the most difficult. This is because a smoker inclines to always believe that his joy and happiness lies inside a cigarette. Figuring out the truth of what the nicotine inside the cigarette can do to the mind and body is one of the most pivotal issues in smoking.

Relieving the mind of such addictions can pave the way for treating the body's addiction towards smoking. Smokers believe that a cigarette is always needed to relieve them from their daily stresses. If the connection of the mind with smoking is broken, then a person will be able to overcome their smoking habit. Over time, they will understand that their happiness does not depend on a cigarette but in what they really do in life.

Another hint on how to quit smoking would be to attend counselling sessions and get assistance from someone who is an ex-smoker, a person who has learnt the value of life and had stopped smoking. Sharing out your fears in quitting smoking, relieving the doubts in your mind can all be cleared out by participating in such sessions which are good to anyone who is seeking to stop smoking.
