With the advance technology available today, a person can use self hypnosis for various treatments, including smoking cessation. There are so many aids and therapies available to quit smoking, but hypnosis stands above them all, because of its effectiveness and the ability to influence the subconscious.

When you do self hypnosis, all you need is a tape and a will to be hypnotized. It is really that simple. You do not need any special skills; neither do you need to learn any techniques to do it. When you get hold of one of these hypnosis tape or audio, you will just have to play them and listen.

Before you use self hypnosis to quit smoking, you need to make sure you are in a relaxed state of mind. Hypnosis doesn't work when you are stressed out. Hypnotherapists often use a technique called hypnosis induction before performing hypnotism to put the person in a relaxed state. The audio recording that you will use for self hypnosis will include this hypnosis induction part, but you should also be prepared to go in that state.

It never works unless you want it to work. Millions have used hypnosis to improve their life in many ways. And the reason why they succeeded was because they were willing to use hypnosis to change their life. Unless you are willing to change and allow hypnosis to help you change, you will not be able to quit smoking. Period.

Hypnosis has a very high conversion rate and those who use it to quit smoking generally never go back to smoking again in their lives.

You can easily get a self hypnosis audio from a website. There are some websites that offer a complete course in self hypnosis with CDs. But the downside of these websites is that they do not provide instant downloads. There are also some websites that allow you to download the self hypnosis tape instantly after you make the payment. It is recommended that you go for these sites as they are much faster than the ones that make you wait for the product to be delivered at your door step.
