Are you looking for the best way to stop smoking? If your answer is yes, then you will probably want to hear my story out. I was once a smoker - a heavy one- for as long as I could remember. I started smoking back when I was still a kid, when I was in sixth-grade, and it got worse when I hit my puberty in seventh-grade. Most of my friends smoked then, and it was just plain cool and rewarding to hear your friends complimented you on your bravado, when they told you that you had "finally" become a man by putting those cancer sticks between your lips and started smoking.

At one point in time, I decided that I had to stop. It was hard, and it was a tough time for me. There were times when I relapsed and went back straight to my smoking habit, which soon became an on and off thing for me. After some time, I finally managed to stop and I haven't been smoking again now for five long years (I'm thirty years of age, by the way). I have finally become a smoke-free man, and I want to share with you five exceptional tips to help you stop smoking - for good.

One thing that you need to know is, if you decide to quit smoking, don't think that it's going to be easy. Stop smoking is a difficult (and more often than not - challenging) journey to be made, and it involves dealing with both physical and mental addiction of the long-ingrained habit.

This will be a constant battle for you, and you will need all the help you can get to triumph over your addiction, and that's why this article is written - to help you through that difficult times ahead. Here we go, the best way to stop smoking is by implementing these five tips in your daily life:

1) Set up a smoke-free condition
Obviously, you don't want to expose yourself to the temptation of smoking by hanging out with your smoking buddies. Do not even inhale the smoke, if you can, just avoid it at all cost. Remember, you're just starting to quit and you're very vulnerable at this point, so don't think that you can manage to handle yourself shall the urge arises.

2) All your smoking stuffs must go
You name it - ashtray, leftover cigarettes, lighter, matches, everything that will remind you of smoking belongs in the dump. You're starting a new life. Throw out the old one away - you're turning over a new leaf.

3) When cravings hit, occupy yourself with something else to do
Work out at the gym, have a hot and steamy sex, knit, watch that new episode of "The Walking Dead" - whatever suits you. Just do something else and take your mind off your cravings. You need to get physical and get that blood flow going to help you cope with the cravings.

4) Nibble at nutritious snacks to cope with your oral fixation
Sometimes you'll feel a craving to put something between your lips or into your mouth. This is perfectly natural, and you should be prepared beforehand. Try keeping nutritious snack with you at all times - try pistachio nuts, sunflower seeds, sugar-free candies or gum, carrot or celery sticks. Some people use electronic cigarettes, but I don't actually recommend using them. They will just bring the old memories back. You're trying to start a new life, not reminiscing the old one. When it comes to dealing with oral fixation, in my opinion, eating healthy food is the best way to stop smoking.

5) Save all the money you usually spent on cigarettes, and put the container in a highly visible location.
Keep track of the money you've saved, and put the money container somewhere you can see clearly. When it's full, reward yourself by spending the money on whatever you prefer, because you deserve it. Go on a holiday. Buy yourself that stuff you always wanted but you could never afford - because you usually spent all your money on cigarettes. Yeah, don't you feel so good now?

There you go, all five tips to help you quit smoking. I have personally done these five tips and they have worked wonders for me, and I hope they will help you as well.

Before you go though, there's one thing I'd like to tell you.

Of the estimated forty-eight million smokers in the US, thirty-four million are trying to kick their habit at any given time. And of those twenty million, only five percent, or less than two million, can expect to succeed permanently.

The other ninety-five percent may stop smoking for a few days, weeks, or months, but succumb to a moment of weakness and think, "Just one cigarette can't hurt." If they enjoy that cigarette--and the vast majority of them do--the days, weeks, or months of being nicotine-free will literally go up in smoke.

There may be, in the form of a stop-smoking vaccine currently under development an answer to their difficulties. The stop smoking vaccine in clinical trials is designed to work differently than the nicotine-based smoking cessation aids and nicotine-receptor binding injections which are currently on the market.

How The Stop Smoking Vaccine Works
Both the nicotine-based aids and injections allow either nicotine or drugs to pass the blood brain barrier and interact with the brain's nicotine receptors. The stop smoking vaccine, however, treats nicotine as an invading substance, and allows the body to develop antibodies which target the nicotine molecules as they enter the bloodstream.

By binding with the nicotine molecules, the stop smoking vaccine antibodies make them to large to penetrate the blood-brain barrier and they never get to the nicotine receptors to stimulate the release of dopamine which makes smoking so addictively pleasurable. The stop smoking vaccine will teach the body's immune system to treat nicotine as if it were any other infection.

The reason so many smokers are unable to quit is that they are nicotine addicts. Many stop smoking aids are nicotine-based and attempt to let the smoker gradually decrease his or her daily intake of nicotine until their cravings disappear. But they still allow nicotine to get to the brain, stimulating the brain to release dopamine, the neurotransmitter which creates feelings of pleasure.

The stop smoking vaccine is given in a series of four shots over a period of twelve months, and with the administering of each shot the level of nicotine antibodies in the smoker's system will increase. Small amounts of nicotine will escape the antibodies at the beginning of the vaccination period, and help the smoker to weather nicotine withdrawal symptoms which are the downfall of so may smokers when they try to quit.

But by the time the fourth of the stop smoking vaccine shots has been administered, the smoker's immune system should be producing enough antibodies to bind with all the nicotine, if any, entering the bloodstream. If the stop smoking vaccine makes it to market, annual booster shots can help those who have stopped smoking stay off cigarettes for good.

Progress Of The Stop Smoking Vaccine
One company developing a stop smoking vaccine, Nabi Pharmaceuticals, reported in May of 2007 the successful outcome of Phase II of their clinical trials. Their vaccine has been fast-tracked for approval by the FDA, meaning that when Nabi successfully finishes its own clinical trials, the vaccine will be subjected to a much shorter FDA-approval process.

Smokers undoubtedly feel the unfavourable facets of their vice, and if you're a cigarette smoker, you know what those aspects are. First and foremost, there are fewer nicotine junkies; many folks have already decided to give up smoking cigarettes for different reasons. Second, you are not allowed to smoke cigarettes indoors, which means you need to head outdoors if you really want to smoke. Additionally, countless studies have detailed the multitude of health risks that come with tobacco use. If you're keen on getting rid of your terrible habit, you'll have a variety of smoking cessation products to choose from. These can help you in your quest to have a much healthier life.

One thing that you should not pay attention to is the retail prices of quit smoking products. People who do not want to utilise smoking cessation products on account of their retail prices are ridiculous. The selling prices of tobacco products are continuing to rise, and if you think about the amount of money you spend on cigarettes each and every year, you'll see that cigarette smoking is, in reality, more expensive than smoking cessation products! The rewards that you'll get from the use of quit smoking products will significantly outweigh those of smoking (if it even has any advantages).

The monetary cost isn't that crucial when you realise that smoking also places a greater cost on your state of health. Nicotine junkies will have a greater chance of having lung cancer, throat and mouth cancer as well as heart disease, among other illnesses. Also, cigarette smoking could cause impotence in males.

A typical consequence of this detrimental vice is that it makes smokers look older than they really are. This occurs because smoking turns your skin grey and dull. It might not be obvious, but you'll see it upon closer inspection. Should you quit using tobacco now, your skin would clear up and you'll look more youthful in no time at all! You will have a more healthy glow and look much better as well.

Plenty of people smoke cigarettes because they're afraid of gaining extra weight. This reason is a lot more common in women more than men. It is a fact that most individuals would put on a few pounds after they stop using tobacco. Then again, those excess pounds could be easily shed afterward. Additionally, there are better and more healthier ways for you to refrain from packing on unwanted weight, such as a proper diet and doing routine workouts. For instance, rather than sitting around and munching on processed food the entire day, you can go for carrots and other healthy greens and fruits as snacks, and then head to the fitness center or take longer walks.

Obviously, you will have much more rewards by quitting tobacco use once and for all. But it can be an extremely difficult endeavour. If you've attempted to quit using tobacco in the past and regressed, do not surrender completely; you should take another shot at it! Nowadays, there are numerous stop smoking products that can help you achieve your objective. You can purchase as well as utilise nicotine patches and nicotine gum in order to repel your strong hankerings and withdrawal symptoms. These products hold varying amounts of nicotine, and the point would be for you to progressively minimise the amount of nicotine entering your system until you get used to not having it anymore. Another option is to use pseudo-cigarettes; this certain smoking cessation product gives the illusion of cigarette smoking, but minus the unhealthy consequences.

If you're having a difficult time giving up tobacco use, you can obtain either over-the-counter or prescription medications. It is advisable that you check with your physician in advance of utilizing medications in order to quit smoking; the doctor would be able to ascertain which specific quit smoking product you need and also how long you need to utilise it. You can also get advice from former smokers and ask them what stop smoking products and methods they employed. Afterward, you can work on a stop smoking plan that you could stay with for the long term.

There are also all-natural quit smoking products and remedies available if you do not want to use medical products. Organic products will give you fewer adverse effects, and hypnotherapy, acupuncture as well as laser therapy are only a few of the validated natural smoking cessation strategies that will help you triumph over your horrible habit once and for all! There is no better time to quit using tobacco than now, and with the products that you can get hold of, you'll have a superb success rate as well as much more confidence. It is quite critical that you have faith in yourself and be given the help you require!

In this article I'm going to talk about the best quit smoking aids. If you are trying to quit, I can understand how hard it can be. It took me multiple attempts before I finally was able to quit for good. I've tried a lot of different stop smoking aids and know first hand which ones work and which ones you want to stay away from. Here is my experience with the best quit smoking aids.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy

Nicotine Replacement Therapy is when you use a nicotine delivery method to replace the nicotine you normally would get from smoking. You progressively decrease the amount of nicotine you take in until you are no longer dependent of it. Gums and patches are the most common form on Nicotine Replacement Therapy. They are also the most popular type of quit smoking aid. Although so many people use this aid, there are actually very low success rates for its users. This is because you are still feeding your body exactly what its trying to become independent of. Even when you give your body a small amount of nicotine, you're still teaching it to depend on it. This makes the cessation process a long and difficult process.

Cold Turkey

Cold Turkey is when you give up smoking all at once, without the use of any aids. This is arguably the most effective way to quit. This is because your completely stopping your nicotine intake. It's a bit harder at first, but you're craving will go away faster, and you'll be able to quit for the long run more effective. The big catch with this method is that its the most difficult to get through the first few weeks. Cravings will be extremely intense and the withdrawal symptoms get very difficult to deal with as well. These include cold sweats, goose bumps, cold symptoms, anxiety, nervousness, and depression just to name a few. Most people can't get through the first week since most of these symptoms occur simultaneously.

Stop Smoking Pills

Stop smoking pills are the best quit smoking aid that you can take. This is because its encompasses the best aspects of Nicotine Replacement Therapy and quitting cold turkey, without taking any of their negative aspects. It will help to address your withdrawal symptoms and cravings just as effective as patches and gums, without using Nicotine. Since you aren't taking anymore nicotine, its sort of like quitting cold turkey, except without dealing with the nasty side effects. I would suggest that you look into herbal quit smoking pills because since they are all-natural, they won't add any of their own side effects. This is important because there are some stop smoking pills that use certain drugs that give you its own set of harsh side effects such as extreme insomnia and nausea. This is why herbal stop smoking pills are the best quit smoking aid, they'll put you in the best position to quit smoking for good.

To stop smoking without drugs you are going to fight a hard battle, but it is not much more difficult than trying to quit with drugs. But, how do you quit smoking cold turkey without reverting back to cigarettes? You have to fight the mental addiction head on.

The physical addiction is easy to fight. You can simply replace what your body wants with other things. You can replace nicotine with a patch or some gum if you must. The act of holding a cigarette can be replaced by holding a pen or pencil. You can replace the need to have something in your mouth with a drinking straw. Overall, the physical addiction is easily amused by other means.

Fighting the mental addiction will be one of the hardest things you ever do. Your mind has turned smoking cigarettes into a habit that must be done as a part of daily life. To you, the act of smoking is as necessary as breathing or taking a shower. The overall desire to light up and smoke will eat at you and make you want to give up.

This is where you need to dig in, take a deep breath, and exhale slowly. Many times you will find that this simple act can help. You should also add in some exercise to keep yourself moving and your mind off of cigarettes. Instead of smoking a cigarette you should take the dog for a walk or shoot some hoops.

If you truly hate physical activity you should replace smoking with anything you don't associate with smoking, like going out to the movies where you cannot light up. If you want to stop smoking without drugs you are going to need an abundance of willpower, but this is a battle can can be won.

Are you ready to quit smoking pot? It was cool when you were younger, but now it's physically and mentally tiring, not to mention expensive. But quitting seems difficult. I mean, you've been doing it for years, how are you going to deal with the cravings and withdrawal symptoms? It's not as hard as you may think.

You see, all of these thoughts that are floating around in your head are one of your biggest obstacles that you are going to have to overcome. Marijuana doesn't pose the same chemical addiction as most drugs. Your addiction to marijuana is more mental than physical. It doesn't mean the quitting marijuana is easier than most drugs, it just means that the mental component is going to be where the biggest battle takes place.

Marijuana only causes mild chemical dependence. THC, the chemical in marijuana that causes the "high", is very harmful to your body. After prolonged smoking of marijuana, you have a greatly increased risk of cancer, memory loss, and slow cognitive ability. People who are addicted to marijuana do not perform as well at their jobs or other activities as those who aren't. It does have a significant impact on your mind, health, and life.

Once you quit smoking weed, a whole new world will be open to you. Jobs, friends, and other things that you were restricted from while you were smoking will be available to you. You will feel so much better about yourself not only because you are a non-addict, but because you had the willpower to quit smoking weed.

Take it one day at a time. It may not be easy to quit smoking weed, but being prepared and setting daily goals will help you succeed. You will be surprised how much easier it will be to quit smoking weed if you set small goals and stick with them!

Also, warum gehen einige Raucher durch Rückzug?

A common misconception about marijuana addiction is that like cigarettes and some hard drugs in that the body develops an addiction to a chemical and if deprived of it brings on serious physical cravings that can near incapacitate some people. This is however totally incorrect and is one of the main reasons people misunderstand the addiction and fail when trying to quit? So what is the secret on How to stop smoking marijuana? Why am I addicted to a non addictive substance? The answer is psychological.

Since your body has no desperate need for pot the addiction this creates is mental or psychological. Psychological addiction stems from a person's addiction to the high that an action creates; gambling addiction is the same when people are addicted to winning and even shopping can be a psychological addiction when people get addicted to finding bargains and buying nice things even if they will never use them. In the end they are all similar in that this high becomes something a person wants so much they believe it is a need and will continue to smoke pot because they think they cannot do without it and continue chasing the high.

However to combat this we need to go even deeper and look at why that initial addiction to that high began. What drove you to start smoking and what drove you to continue smoking. Some people simply fell into it because their friends all smoked, others use pot as a was to escape stress or to escape from abuse and others still smoke marijuana because they lack direction in their lives and it feels like an easy way to waste time which they find they cannot escape from. There are as many reasons for addiction as there are addictions meaning everyone is different but the common link is everyone one needs to understand their addiction and the cause before they can really learn to quit forever.

If you can find these reasons then you can start taking action to stop smoking marijuana. Some methods include meditation, finding rewarding hobbies, exercise, finding different social groups and so on. These solutions often have to be hand tailored by the addict so they can fill that time they spent smoking with other activities that are healthy and bring a sense or reward without being high. Though some have to be careful they do not simply pick up a replacement addiction which can be just as bad.

So how to stop smoking marijuana is actually how to understand all aspects of your addiction and then finding the willpower and help you need to fill your life with healthier and better things. good luck!

Cigarette smoke can do damage in many diverse ways. Whether you experience the smoke first or second hand, there is always a negative effect on your body. Studies have revealed the dangerous physical effects of smoking on people who are long-term smokers. Smoking bans are presently in place in many countries across the world. Do you need a ton of reasons to give up smoking? It costs a lot, causes your outfits to smell terrible, and ruins your teeth. Bad breath is also a depressing side effect. Here are some tips to help you stop smoking.

Initially, you need to find out the reasons you want to smoke. Are you more apt to have a smoke under stress? Do you crave a smoke in the morning with coffee or in the evening with a beverage? Identifying exactly what compels you to light up is enormously helpful in shaping a line of action to stay away from cigarettes.

Then, you need to identify a means to keep these fixations under control. You can make use of your willpower to not have a smoke, however, this method is not always effective. When you first start to stop using nicotine, you can have fierce cravings and your resentment could be simmering just under the surface. If you notice yourself smoking while you enjoy your coffee, try to reduce your coffee consumption during the day. For outside-only smokers, you should make an effort to stay put inside if you sense an urge for a cigarette happening.

The third step might be the easiest. Find every object that's connected to smoking in your home and your automobile and clean it out. Put your ashtrays, lighters, matches and smokes in the trash. If you come across something that you really feel that you can't dispose of, try to keep in mind that this object might also trigger your weak spot and devastate all of your progress from quitting smoking.

Ultimately, concentrate on your purpose. Don't you suppose it would feel great to let people know that you have stopped smoking?

When you start smoking, where would you place your chances for success at quitting one day? If you put your faith in statistics, you'd have a 5% chance at success. What happens to the rest of us is a potent mixture of extreme craving, unbearable headaches, and irritable twitchiness. The brain wants its nicotine the stimulants in tobacco that make receptors in the brain release pleasure-making dopamine. Do you realize that in a world where smokers for 40 years have endlessly seen smoking bans, dire cancer warnings from the Surgeon General, pressure from friends and family, that 19 out of 20 people fail to quit even once they try? That is the power that chemicals like nicotine have over us; but if you want to quit, it does make sense to try to fight chemical with chemical, does it not? If you want to stop smoking, medication could be your way out.

When you have medicines pulling for you, what do those statistics say for your chances at success then? The improvement isn't dramatic, but you do stand a fair chance now. That is what the US Public Health Service says - if you wish to stop smoking medication can improve your odds by three times. It all depends on what kind of smoking habit you carry actually. If you take in more than 20 cigarettes a day, antidepressants like Wellbutrin and smoker-specific drugs like Chantix the most important drugs to really help you. Anything less than 10 cigarettes a day or so, and you need no help from drugs - you're probably not addicted.

People realize that tobacco addiction is a pretty tenacious thing; and they understand that the drugs that you take for it would have to be particularly strong. They wonder if they'll just end up substituting one addiction for another, or face up to some pretty serious side effects or organ damage these medicines can bring to the heart. Of course, you have to understand that tobacco smoke isn't exactly the greatest thing for your heart either. None of the side effects actually have anything on nicotine when it comes to hurting your heart. But if you want to stop smoking medication is never going to cure you.. Think of it more as a way to treat your condition for as long as you live. The best thing to do would be to never let the habit in your life.

Let's see then how the best stop-smoking medication can help. Wellbutrin happens to be your top-of-the-line drug choice. It's actually an antidepressant that's been discovered to help with nicotine cravings. Antidepressants are well known for the way they deal with the production of dopamine in the brain (you've heard of dopamine, haven't you? It's the chemical that helps brain cells communicate one with the other, and it also helps you feel pleasure and craving). Wellbutrin masses up the way nicotine jump starts dopamine production, and you stop getting your nicotine high. Chantix does great with heavy smokers who do two packs a day and have done so for decades. What it does is, it keeps the nicotine receptors busy in the brain so that you don't feel the cravings at all. And if you happen to weaken midway and get a cigarette, Chantix makes sure that you don't enjoy it at all.

The worst that you have with Wellbutrin is that you don't just lose your interest in cigarettes; you lose your interest in food and sex too. And when you add into the mix some problems you might have with sleeping, your weight, and keeping your mouth properly moistened, it can get a little difficult. Chantix doesn't make it any easier. You have constant suicidal thoughts when you take it, and you have trouble sleeping to boot. And with both drugs, you become less than friendly, and you're likely to lose your cool rather often. Doctors use Wellbutrin with a tobacco patch sometimes too, and that's a pretty successful approach. You need to ask your doctor. If all these side effects are beginning to scare you off, you need to think of this - when you quit, you stand to gain an additional 13 years in your life. That should be worth a few measly bucks now shouldn't it?

Supporting the Addicted Brain from Nicotine Dependency

The writing is on the wall. In fact, it's on walls everywhere. No smoking. The signs and policies are found in restaurants, businesses, government buildings, and seemingly every public location you can imagine. Time is running out on nicotine.

Of course you know the health risks associated with nicotine. Everyone knows them. They've been around since the 1600's. Nicotine is a leading cause of cancer, emphysema, heart disease, stroke, and death. It is often said these health risks with nicotine "can be avoided." But if you smoke or chew tobacco, you know all too well it's pretty hard to avoid nicotine once you started, right? And there's a good reasons for it.

Nicotine hooks you hard. Nicotine hooks you fast. Its strength and speed team up for the biggest part of the problem. Tolerance is also a key factor. You get tolerant to nicotine's effects and require more and more to reach the same level of stimulation. This explains how you quickly go from a cigarette or two hanging out in a bar to a one or two pack a day smoker.

Whether you smoke or use smokeless tobacco, it's like you get caught in a deadly nicotine addiction faster than you can spell the word - cigarette.

Nicotine gets in through the lungs, skin, and mucous membranes. It enters the bloodstream within seconds, goes right to your brain and then the rest of your body. It doesn't last very long. The body gets rid of it very quickly. That's why you smoke or chew so often. You're trying to maintain a level of nicotine that feels good in your body. But then there's the brain.

The brain is the source of the pleasure get from nicotine. It's also the source of the discomfort and irritability you feel when it wants more nicotine. Your brain gets addicted to nicotine and falls out of balance. It causes the cravings that can be so unbearable, they are irresistible.

Millions of smokers and smokeless tobacco users try to break free from nicotine addiction every year. Only about 10% actually succeed. Most quit trying to quit within a week. Blame the addicted brain.

All of these people who tried to quit smoking or chewing didn't fail to succeed because they didn't really want to quit. It wasn't because they were weak or had a lack of character. It's that they didn't have the necessary strategy or tools to address the addicted brain. Addiction is a disease with a real biochemical aspect to it. The common addiction treatments methods failed, not the addicted. No one was focused on the biochemical solution, until recently.

After ten years of clinical research, a breakthrough in addiction treatment was discovered. It addresses the biochemical problem of addiction and delivers a solution. It's known as ModeraXL.

ModeraXL inhibits cravings from nicotine addiction and smoking cessation. It is able to regulate discomfort by using All-Natural vital nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to balance the brain chemistry. Another benefit is the calmative formula that promotes mental clarity and good decisions. Now you can think clearly again without being focused on smoking your next cigarette or chewing your next chunk of tobacco.

You can even start ModeraXL while you are still smoking or chewing tobacco. The vital nutrients will help to inhibit your cravings from nicotine addiction and you can wean yourself off of using nicotine naturally.

All you do with ModeraXL is mix a stick pack in water. It's a pretty good tasting lemon-lime flavor that you drink it two or more times a day. Many subjects using ModeraXL have reported they lost much of their desire to smoke within a week or two. Maybe you get into the 10% of people who succeed in quitting smoking or chewing tobacco.

Are you looking for stop smoking tricks to help you quit smoking? That is great. It must mean that you are seriously looking for a way to stop your smoking habit.

Quitting smoking is the best decision you can make for yourself and your health. The fact that you are reading this article shows that you are looking for help. That is important; looking for help is going to greatly improve your chances of successfully quitting.

Whether you have tried smoking already or if this is your first attempt using the right techniques and suggestions can nearly guarantee that this attempt to quit will be successful.

First of all it is important to understand that the addiction to smoking is two-fold. You have both a physical addiction to nicotine and a psychological addiction to the habit of smoking. Do not let this discourage you. There are strategies to conquering both aspects of your smoking addiction.

Overcoming the Physical Addiction to Nicotine

Believe it or not this is actually the easier of the two. After you quit smoking the physical addiction to nicotine passes in about a week as nicotine passes out of your system. This week can be hard. Many smokers who quit refer to it as "hell week" but it doesn't have to be too difficult if you use the following tricks to get through this first week.

Avoid your "Triggers" - Triggers are the places, situations or habits that you associate with smoking. It may be that going to a bar or nightclub, going on a long drive, or having a cup of coffee are things that really make you want to smoke. For at least the first week or two after quitting smoking try your best to avoid these triggers.

Drink a lot of Water - Drinking water will help the nicotine to pass through your system more quickly. Keep a water bottle close by and when faced with an urge take a sip. It will help with the urges as well as speed up the process of getting nicotine out of your body.

Get Active - No, you don't have to go to the gym and start working out (unless you want to). Just try to get out in the evening and go for a walk. Or go for a walk at lunch. It will help to distract you. Also, getting some fresh air will help you feel better.

Overcoming the Psychological Addiction to Smoking

This is the harder addiction to overcome. Smoking becomes such a strong habit that it actually becomes a part of your subconscious. It almost becomes a part of who you are. This is the reason why people start smoking months or years after they quit. Some circumstance or stress occurs in their life and their subconscious urge to smoke kicks in and they have a cigarette. This can be conquered with the following trick.

Listen to an NLP Recording - NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming and it is a therapy technique that is very successful in helping people to break the psychological addiction to smoking. Like hypnotherapy it targets the subconscious and breaks the deep rooted desires to smoke. NLP benefits, however, can be gained in your own home just by listening to an audio recording.

If you apply both the physical and psychological stop smoking tricks mentioned here you have an excellent chance of quitting smoking. But remember that the physical addiction is broken quickly. You need to make sure that you use a technique, like NLP, to break the psychological addiction to stay smoke-free for the rest of your life.
