Tobacco companies might like to claim that smoking might contribute to cancer, but the reality is that it very much does, there is no "might" in the statement. Considering the sheer number of ingredients that go into making a cigarette, it is amazing that the human body is so resilient to most of them and actually takes time to show signs of damage. Hence, this alone should be a good enough reason to quit smoking and opt to lead a longer life.

You might think it is cool to be smoking, considering that you have seen so many celebrities and stars smoking either on screen or even in real life. But, also note the number of other famous personalities who don't smoke and are just as happy. When you smoke, you eventually restrict the people that you hang out with as well. This might be something that you might have always wanted but never had the money to procure.
