People hooked to their daily dose of marijuana are probably not even aware of the quitting smoking benefits. But, if they are made aware of this and can kick the habit, the rewards are plenty.

Smoking marijuana can take over your life because it induces such a tranquil feeling that you are in a state of bliss the whole time you are smoking pot. And though, not as dangerously addictive as other hardcore drugs, it does take a toll on your physical and mental health. Smoking pot continuously may result in half that person's life getting over without him realizing it. This happens because marijuana is a hallucinogenic drug which makes you see things through a haze and you are not in full possession of your faculties. But, if you do decide to give it up, you will reap the benefits.

The first reward in the quitting smoking benefits list is that you will start feeling whole again. The hallucinations which used to take away parts of your life are missing and you can perceive yourself as a whole being again.

Once you have successfully given up smoking pot, you will feel so relieved and guilt-free that it will change you as a person. No more hiding from people, no paranoia but the confidence to take on the world. You will become more outgoing and peaceful. Less stress, improved short-term memory and a sharper focus on things will be very much noticeable. And even more importantly, you will be able to have deeper interactions with your partner and family and better relations with friends.

Physically, your energy levels will increase, your lungs will be healthier and cleaner and your overall fitness will improve. The most important reward will be gaining back your self-respect and it does not get bigger than that!
